Choosing Holiday
Accommodation and Attractions in the
With so much
holiday accommodation and attractions in the
Choosing
Not only is there a wide
range of accommodation choices - from hotels and B&Bs to self-catering
cottages - but also wildly different standards of quality. A good way of
ensuring you aren’t disappointed is to read reviews from previous guests
before you book your holiday accommodation. This is often available from
good quality online holiday and tourism sites. Another important factor in
selecting holiday accommodation is its proximity to the attractions you want
to visit - you don't want to spend half your holiday stuck in the car or on
public transport. Again some sites now have clickable maps showing both the
cottage or B&B and also the local attractions things to do.
Choosing Attractions and
Activities
As well as investigating
what attractions are available, make sure your cottage or B&B is close to
some good places for eating and drinking and there are nearby sports and
activities that suit your needs. It is always worth speaking to the owner of
your self-catering cottage or B&B for advice on local attractions and
activities. Make sure as well that there are plenty of children’s activities
to keep the whole family entertained!
