Gavin getting a feel for 'the bridge' after a good
feel for McEwans. Taken at 'Benny Boys' (Neil Benson's) front door while at
University - clearly being a hard working student at the time. Bunny Bruce
should remember the evening well, as he turned up with grass and mud all over
the roof of his Datsun 120Y Estate bus. |

Bunny came down from Strathblane that night
and rolled the car after some wild overtaking past sensible road users. They
stopped to help him right his vehicle - only to be passed again as he made his
way rapidly towards the party that was going on inside this close. Them were the
days...Bunny Bruce on trumpet (playing with his right eye). Miss Hydra (lower
left), Francis Green on right. God knows who was at the back?? |
